On Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020, the OCAA officially announced the cancellation of varsity sports and recreation activities for the winter semester.
“It makes me uneasy thinking that someone who is considered high-risk is out in a city that so many students call home,” said Amy Lovelacey during a phone interview with Spoke.
According to a survey done by Conestoga Students Inc. (CSI) in December 2016, 60 per cent of students usually focus on relaxing and travelling on vacation, and only 21 per cent spend their break doing school work.

On Thursday, Oct. 31, Conestoga hosted its fourth annual talent show at The Venue where students were welcomed to feature their exceptional skills. The audience encountered many different talents including singing, playing guitar, break dancing, magic tricks and comedy. Every year, CSI hosts this event with some modifications.
