Residents of Cambridge got a chance to have a look at the 2019 staff-prepared budget on Wednesday at the Old Post Office in downtown Galt, as the city hosted a budget info series session.
As it currently stands, the proposed budget recommends an overall tax increase of 3.72 per cent.
Cambridge manager of finance Katie Fischer and Debbie Andrade, supervisor of financial planning, gave the presentation. There was a lively question-and-answer session after the presentation in which residents expressed their reservations and provided feedback about the draft budget.
