Don’t start putting away your clubs just yet, because golf is here to stay this winter.
Conestogo-based company Golf North is promoting “winter golf” this season, with eight different courses in and around the region open.
With COVID-19 cases surging across Ontario, Golf North wants to create a safe and fun activity to keep you active throughout the winter.
According to their Instagram profile, golfers should find a stake in the ground and tee off from there, rather than using a traditional golf tee. The pin or flag will be placed in front of the green to protect it, and putting will be on the fairway only. You probably should use coloured golf balls, because good luck finding a white ball in the snow.
