The auto retail business was deemed an essential industry during the COVID-19 lockdown.

While dealerships remained open by appointment during Ontario’s lockdown, they faced unpredictable sales and other issues, staff members said.

John O’Neil, the sales manager of Budds’ BMW Hamilton and Vivian O’Neal, a sales associate at Budds’, talked to Spoke about the car business during lockdown.
