Hundreds of residents made their way to downtown Kitchener this Saturday to participate and observe Kitchener’s time-honoured remembrance day ceremonies. Ernie Bremner, president of the legion that hosted the day’s events, says the tradition sees fewer observers each year. In addition, the Canadian Armed Forces are having troubles hiring, with at least 10,000 open positions.
