As the conflict in Gaza reached its six-month mark, community members gathered in front of the Kitchener Farmers Market for a peaceful rally to mourn the casualties.

At 11 a.m. on Saturday April 6, participants met with organizers in front of the Kitchener Market. Signs and flags were handed out before the group began their walk down King Street towards Kitchener City Hall. The rally ran until shortly after 12 p.m. ending back at the market. The rally takes place every week regardless of weather, drawing in more attendees each time, according to organizers.
