The 27th annual CIBC Run For The Cure at Conestoga College’s Doon camus was a huge success Sunday, as hundreds of volunteers and participants gathered outside of the Rec Centre for the worthy cause.

Fundraiser supports cancer society
BY LEAH MORROW October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. According to the Canadian Cancer Society, breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women. On average, 68 Canadian women are diagnosed with breast cancer on any given day, and 25,000 will be diagnosed this year.
