The Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society has been working hard to make sure that every pet gets a forever place to stay, even during the pandemic. But it is not as simple as just keeping animals until they find their safe space.
Kitchener has a population of around 242,000 people, many who are pet owners. Meet some of the dogs who have forever homes in the area, and others who are hoping to be adopted.
A weekend event sponsored by Pet Valu and Kitchener’s Guinea Pig Sanctuary underlined why the furry rodents are near-perfect pets.
