Conestoga College celebrated Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, with international students at Lot 42 Global Flex Campus in Kitchener on Friday, Nov. 1.
The idea behind the celebration was to commemorate Diwali and make international students feel at home. It is a way to help students rejoice while they are away from their families.
More than 1,500 students turned out for the event.
