AUDIO: Coronavirus concerns cause athletes’ seasons, and some careers, to end in the blink of an eye

Across Canada, hundreds of sports leagues fell like dominoes after the NBA and NHL were put on pause over coronavirus.

A few other leagues were also postponed, however many were outright cancelled.

At this time of year, many sports are at the end of the regular season, and some are even deep into playoffs, so the cancellations were heartbreaking for athletes and everyone else involved
