Remembrance Day reminds us to take time out of our lives to honour so many men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom. Several campaigns are organized all around the nation to pay respect and honour to our heroes.
When you pause on the 11th month, the 11th day at the 11th hour, appreciate that Canadians are so fortunate for our place in life – only because of the strength of so many who fought in the battle for our basic beliefs, justice and right to freedom.
And as you acknowledge and appreciate this, remember, as navy veteran, Chris Pickering said, “Thank you is a small word, but it means so much to a veteran.” This year, tell them how thankful we are.
