Have you ever been to an escape room? I bet you haven’t been to one like in the 2019 film Escape room, directed by Adam Robitel. This thriller sci-fi film will have you on the edge of your seat.
This film starts by introducing three of the six characters and talks a bit about them, which are Jason (Jay Ellis), Zoey (Taylor Russell) and Ben (Logan Miller).
They end up receiving a small black box which was addressed by someone who they already know. They try to figure out how to open up the box which is a puzzle. When completed it would give them a small card with an address on it to where they will be the first to participate in a new escape room. After going there, they all meet up with three other characters named Amanda (Deborah Ann), Danny (Nik Dodani) and Mike (Tyler Labine).
They all end up regretting coming to the escape room because they did not know what they have gotten their sleeves into with each escape room killing one of the members, it is sure to shock you after finding so much about why they are there and who set them up.
This film will not disappoint at all, if you’re someone who’s into action and thriller with a twist, this film is the way to go and can be found on Netflix.
