For thousands of years together, humans and dogs had evolved side by side and have created a strong bond that persists to this day.    

One of the most common nicknames for dogs is “man’s best friend,” which results from how close and important dogs are to humanity. Today, dogs are primarily seen as beloved companions. However, they help humans in many ways, such as serving as police dogs, assisting firefighters and shepherds, and even some dogs trained to help the blind.    

In addition of how dogs help us in our everyday lives, studies showing that having a dog can help improve our mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
