Conestoga College, Wilfrid Laurier, the University of Waterloo, and the Sexual Assault Support Centre (SASC) in Waterloo are teaming up to wear #Purple4prevention. Earlier this month, they sold shirts to raise awareness about sexual and gender-based violence because they will be part of the Global 16 Days Campaign.

Shirts were sold until Nov. 17, but those who were unable to purchase a shirt can still donate to SASC, or wear purple during the campaign week of Nov. 25, the International Day Against Violence Against Women, until Dec. 10, International Human Rights Day.

For help or information on resources at Conestoga, visit Conestoga Consent Culture or contact the Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) Prevention and Response Office. SGBV can be reached through email at sgbv@conestogac.on.ca, or by phone at (519) 748-5220 ext. 3079.
