Gage Park in Brampton is “lit” in broad daylight on Saturdays offering cuisines, cultures, and beauty secrets from around the globe.

The Farmer’s Market in Brampton has 44 vendors coming in every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. until Oct. 8, 2022.

“This Brampton favourite brings the community together and is a tradition I look forward to every year,” Mayor Patrick Brown said in a news release. The farmers’ market is located along Wellington Street between George Street and Main Street South.

Live musicians entertain the audience with engaging performances and vendors like the Four Seasons Farm, Fresh Coconut, Green Geek and Mi Churros represented their cultures and interests.

“As someone who just moved to Canada, I do not have a lot of money to go to fancy places, but the Farmers’ Market has given me a well and fair scene of local and international produces. The vibe here is immaculate,” said Rajinder Singh, an attendee.

“The response is overwhelming, I’m glad that people could come back and socialise in real life after the pandemic,” said one market vendor who didn’t want to give his name for personal reasons.

The Farmers’ Market requires no entry fee and is free to all who are interested. It also includes a free parking space.

“It is very convenient to have a parking spot for events like these because it is my prime concern while travelling to a certain place. The fear of finding a spot and not getting a ticket stops me from taking in the atmosphere but for this one, I thoroughly had an amazing time,” said Rashae Wilson, an attendee.
