Menu prices are going up and little can be done by restaurants to combat the increases. Cambridge restaurant owner, Jason York, said times have been tough as they’ve been hit hard by rising costs.
The Consumer Price Index rose well above average, climbing to 6.9 per cent in the 12 months to October. As a result, food and alcohol prices have grown rapidly; breeding uncertainty in the local restaurant industry.
