The rapper and singer Aubrey Drake Graham, famously known as Drake, recently released a six-song EP, “Scary Hours III,” on Nov. 17, 2023. This was just a month after releasing a spectacular 23-song album, “For All the Dogs.” The new EP is the third of the “Scary Hours” series, and if you’re a Drake fan, you must know that the series never disappoints listeners.

“I feel like I’m on drugs, I feel like I’m in that mental state without doing anything,” said Drake, expressing his passion for music in a video posted on his Instagram announcing the release of his latest EP.

Drake has established his name in the music industry as a renowned artist by presenting beautiful and timeless projects for many years. As of Nov. 2023, the Canadian rapper is the second most-streamed male artist on Spotify, with 82 million listeners, after The Weeknd.

The artist’s new EP surprised the fans, he dropped music when nobody expected him to. “I did those songs in the last five days. I didn’t have one bar written down for those songs on the night “For All the Dogs” dropped,” said Drake, which depicts his love for his fans and what a great artist he is.

Being a fan of Drake myself, I loved all the songs on the EP, and I would give it a six on six. My favourite is “The Shoe Fits” because Drake is in his element in that song, and the other one was the J. Cole collaboration, as they both are my favourite artists. The beat drop on the song “You Broke My Heart” is crazy. The lyricism, wordplay, and storytelling in his song “Stories About My Brother” is unmatched.

Another collaboration with J. Cole was an eargasm for rap lovers. The previous collaboration of the artists on the song “First Person Shooter” was at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs chart.

Drake’s last album, “For All the Dogs,” also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, which is his 13th album to top the Billboard list, tying him to the globally renowned popstar Michael Jackson, who was one of the greatest artists in the industry.

Drake consistently delivers to his fans, and his spirit is unmatched. He also released the melodic instrumentals for all the songs on the new EP on Nov. 23, 2023, on streaming platforms. Listen to the Toronto native’s latest releases. I recommend them to those who love R&B and rap music.
