More than 200 turnout for ‘Waffles in the Warehouse’ event for Waterloo Food Bank

The Food Bank of Waterloo Region organized the 6th annual Waffles in the Warehouse event on Sept. 18, 2019 at the food bank’s warehouse. The event aimed to raise awareness about food security and food assistance in the community.  Chris Martin was the keynote speaker and he shared his childhood struggles with food insecurity.   More than 200 people attended the event.
