Tim Hortons teams up with The Food Bank of Waterloo Region for the first ever Holiday Smile Cookies fundraiser campaign. Helping food insecurity within the region and 50 per cent of proceeds from the sold cookies at participating Tim Hortons restaurants throughout the Region will be received by the food bank.
Everyone is welcome to the organization’s second annual fish fry — especially volunteers to help cook and serve.
A Toronto Maple Leaf alumni team will face off against Our Nation’s Heroes in a Portraits of Honour Foundation fundraising effort on April 5.
What began as an idea for a fundraiser a year ago has become Waterloo Region Crossing — a trek aimed at assisting The Working Centre in Kitchener.
